April UNO Mini Challenge
For the Scavenger Hunt, do the words have to be used in the context of the product used as the dye? I've already come up with "The Grapes of Wrath", "Adam's apple", and "orange" used as a colour not a food.
Can we use the word "beets" as well? I don't know that many people would refer to them as "beetroots".
Sorry, yellow should be once. I've updated :)Sarah - the context doesn't matter, just the word, so your examples would all be ok
KayLynn - I'll accept both as I think "beets" is more of an American term
For red wine does it need to be those words exactly or would reference to a bottle or glass of red do?

I finished it yesterday. I liked it okay, but not nearly as much as I did The Book Thief. Maybe that is a bit of an unfair comparison though.
Sometimes it just seemed to lag, and I wanted it to hurry up and move forward.
With The Book Thief, the story pulled me in right from the beginning. This one didn't do that.

It is always hard when a writer has such an amazing book and then has to follow up. I'll still read it, but maybe I won't rush out for it then ;)
Jennifer wrote: "Would this
count for a pink cover?"My husband says yes, so I'll listen to him and say yes ;)
hahaI know, but I drive him nuts with getting his opinions on things for team challenges, so if I don't listen to him he may not help anymore... teehee
i really wish i had of been on good reads to sign up for this UNO challenge. I think this would have been alot of fun. I hope there is another.
Karen, will this work for a gray cover?
And will this work for blue? Because it's such a busy cover, not sure there is enough blue here.
Sarah wrote: "Is "camomile" without the h ok?"I googled, and I had some trouble finding "camomile", but it does seem to be a recognised alternative spelling of "chamomile" so it is ok

Jingles you're in luck. I asked my husband "what colour is that?" (nose turned... "ummmm grey?"
and "what colour is that?" (very definitive) "blue"
Thank you, Karen! And thank your hubby for me :)I always have the worst luck with cover colors. So I usually just ask because what looks purple to me, looks blue to someone else. LOL

Thanks Karen.
Oh, I thought it was supposed to be cranberry haha, since there are so many other fruits etc on the list. What is craberry, does anyone know? I can't google or wiki it because it auto defaults to cranberry...not that we've found the word yet either way lol, just wondering. :)

I found cranberry and asked because as you said craberry defaults to cranberry. I have no idea what a craberry is.
Is this purple? The reader says she calls it mostly purple but a bunch of different colors as well.
This looks grey to me. Is this ok?
OR...alternately for purple....what about this?
