my 2nd book by this author, love her signature knack for describing food in the most sumptuous ways.

i like that the priest in the book is young, but not idealistic, rather he's so rigid and a rule follower without having the wisdom and grace that comes with age, so he's very judgmental.

but in the movie, the priest is older, in his 40s maybe.

i'm loving the book so far.
