Hello members,

This is a new post to this section. (January 2026)

As in the last few days, we have revamped the Home Page.

Removed older posts, added new posts, new topics.

Hopefully the new Home page is much clearer.

We are trying to start a monthly or Bi Monthly Book read.

Also try to re -start are PITFM .

It's been reduced, so you are able to decide the right place to post.

Made more clearer.

Authors please keep to the correct topics for mentioning your own books.

Members please do , at anytime approach us for help or advice.

New look, and a new start.

NEW BOTM, New Modertors

Marion Coro | 0 comments Is there a place to point out what you consider to be an error? And could the place be near where the error appears so that it will be clear why you're posting it? This isn't about nitpicking, but I saw a book listed as the sequel to another. Given the events that occurred in the books mentioned, the "sequel" can't possibly be considered such. I don't know if it was a simple matter of confusing the titles or having gotten events confused.

It is fine just to reply on the same thread.

message 4: by P.K. (new)

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Sean, I apologise for revising such an old thread, but I have searched diligently and not found where I can put a couple of questions. So I'll try here;
1. If I want to organise a giveaway, how does it work. How do I organise either the downloads for e-books or the postage for paper-backs?
2. If I want to upload a cover pic with my blurb of my book under promos or review requests, how would I go about that?
Sorry to be such a freshman pain.
Thanks for any help.

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) Hi P.K.

We have a promotion section. Here is the main folder for it and you can post what you need under whichever topic you need to. Hope this helps.

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Thanks Lorrea. I did see the promote section and will use it (sparingly) but I don't think it answers my technical questions does it?

message 7: by P.K. (new)

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Hi Sean and Lorrea. I think I have now found answers to my questions under the Help Topic folder. I'm sorry to have bothered you all with the question;

Yes, well said Lorrea...

Great that you ask first....

One author, had added his book to the bottom of our home page, without asking...

More respectful to ask first...

We will always try to help...

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Hi Sean, Lorrea. Coming back for more info. I do know how to follow the leads for giveaways but I want to give some paperbacks away for reviews, specifically for our group. Do I just add the details to the Promo section or should I post an alert somewhere else? Also, how does the exchange of contact details work; do I disclose my email in the column?
Thanks for your patience and time.

We have these features in the authors section, where you can add your giveaway.

Best not to add your e-mail, ask members to send their e-mail to you

message 13: by P.K. (new)

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Thanks Sean. Sorry for being stupid, but how do members send their e-mail to me without me saying what my e-mail is - or do you guys do that in the sweatshop?

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) P.K. Make sure your profile is public and members will be able to send you message through Goodreads when they click on your name.

P.K. Davies | 98 comments Thanks Lorrea. I think it is but I will double-check

Jeffrey Bingham | 5 comments Sean,

I'm sure where to post this. However, in comments above, you mention several folders. I can't find any of those folders. I'm sure they must be somewhere??? Could you provide a tutorial on how to navigate around the Good Thrillers site?

PIFM

Is popular, in the 3 section on the home page

Here members list 10-12 books on their own shelf, and other members pick one they would like to read in the next month.

Gretchen | -34 comments It seems the good read peeps have made changes to the page. I am looking to update my reading progress. I have not found it under the home page next to the books I am currently reading. Any ideas? Thanks.

Now we have changed a lot of things.

The Home page will hopefully much easier to go through.

Members will be able to post soon.

But while Lesle and Carol are helping to fine tune are new look, please be patient.

@Sean - do you want to edit your initial comment in this thread with respect to BOTM discussions? No pressure, but it's sufficiently old, I wasn't certain if you were aware that it stakes out a strong position or if you just want to review it and say, "yup, all good here."
