Hello everyone!!!! Thank you to those who voted! The winner is The Last Thing I Told You! Stay tuned and if anyone happens to want to buddy read it let me know!
For those who are wondering how the book is going so far, it’s really good but Nadine is very very creepy. She likes to mess with older men’s heads and she seems to be more attracted to her therapist which is concerning because she is 16 and this man is 50. So despite that the book is kind of confusing because Nadine her point of view is describing the way things went at her appointments, and when she was supposed to be with her therapist talking about information and ways to cope with it, they never really talked about that it was more personal questions being asked. As of right now, I would be giving the book a four star, but it depends on the ending and how things go so still stay tuned, but some people might like this book. Some people might not. It’s one of those books where you’re gonna wing it.
I’m going to be hosting another Mod Read, this time reading The Reappearance of Rachel Price.

Hello everyone! I was just thinking of ways to bring this group alive and I was thinking more of an alphabet reading! So of course you use the letters of the alphabet and people can give suggestions and we can make a poll and vote on. Another way to get books off your list. So let me know what you guys think….
But I don’t know if we should have a limit on how many books people can suggest because I don’t want the poll to have 36 suggestions so maybe each person can suggest 1 or 2 books Ans before poll is made we decide which ones go.
Let me know your guys thoughts!

Hello everyone!! I am having a hard time deciding which book to read next... If you would like to buddy read these two options feel free to message me. Those options are down below!
The Summer That Made Us

The Summer That Made Us
One by One
I am going to post the back of the book summary so you guys can read and then comment your suggestions!
For The Summer That Made Us:
That was then....
For the Hempsteads, two sisters and two brothers with three daughters each summers were crazy. The women would escape the city the moment the school was out to gather around the family lake house by Lake Waseka. The lake was magical place, heaven to where family could be happy and carefree. All of their problems drifted away as the days passed in the sun dappled contentment. Until one summer changed everything.
This is now....
After an accidential drowning at the family lake house followed by grief and tradegy. For good, torn apart the Hempstead women never talk about what happened that summer because relationships between them hurt and are left uneasy. But with the face of new challenges, there is only 1 woman that can bring the family back to the lake happy again as everyone will be facing the truth.
For One by One:
Getting snowed in at a luxurious, rustic ski resort high in the French Appalachian mountains doesn't sound like the worst problem after all. Especially since their is a breathtaking barista, full time chef, housekeeper, and fire to keep you warm as well as company. Unless that company happens to be your 8 coworkers. Each one with something to gain, something to lose, or something to hide. The storm brewing inside the resort is no match for the one starting outside and soon leaves this group cut off from all access of the world. But what's worse is someone doesn't make it back from the mountains when the avalanche hits. As time passes, and no sign of rescue, the storm is growing colder and colder and the group vanishes one by one.
let me know in the comments which one you choose.

Hello everyone!!! Please be looking out for November's BOTM nominations! Thread will be created today!
For all my Stitch lovers...... have you guys seen the new live action movie yet? What do you guys think of it? and did you like it or not?
Personally I loved the movie! I like the cartoon version and live action but I have heard most people don't like it and some people like it.
I would highly recommend if you love Stitch to give it a try! I know this was totally off topic but I just had to ask.

Okay everyone, this is totally off topic but is anyone else having problems with their notifications on Goodreads? Like I have the box checked for when people comment but my phone or app doesn't notify me....... I have tried to figure it out and I am so frustrated because it takes me hours to see one comment because it doesn't notify me.....
Am I the only one having this issue?

Questions friends.... help me out... So when you enter a book giveaway on Goodreads, when you put in your information does the author only see your address or does everyone who's entered the giveaway and the author see that?
How does this work? I never enter them because I am not posting my address on the internet for people to get that...... Just curious? Feedback would be appreciated!

Lilly, that is a good question. I was debating on coming up with options or giving the group a break and then maybe planning one in September or something like that. I know I did wait a few weeks for people to give feedback and no one really gave feedback and I think this year everybody has been so busy That we don’t have a lot of people joining so I think we’re gonna hang tight till September and then we’ll come up with a Reading challenge or something like that.
I mean, I can talk with Anna and see when she wants to do another Reading challenge and I can get back with you but I know she has been busy and it’s hard to get on the Reading app and sit on read when you’re nonstop busy.
Hey Lilly and V, I would love to start a new reading challenge soon! Do either of you have any ideas about what theme we should do this time around?
I would say summer, but I mean summer is almost over. People are gonna be going back to school in August so we could do like a summer/fall themed.
We are still like in mid summer so maybe we could have a challenge summer festival theme? Some name ideas could be ‘Golden Hour Festival’, ‘Summer Soirée Festival’, Summer Solstice Festival’ or ‘The Storybook Summer Festival’.
And some team names could be Booktopia, Storyland, Literary Oasis, Book Voyage, Booked Solid, Bookmark It.
What do you guys think?
