Ok, great! I was REALLY confused by (view spoiler)[ how Rachel said they had to destroy the evidence and they couldn't let anyone know bc the police wouldn't believe them. I kept thinking, Why wouldn't the police believe her husband tried to kill her?? They deal with those cases all the time lol (hide spoiler)]

YES that's how the whole book was. Also what was up with them (view spoiler)[ villainizing Sherry? Did she even know the baby was Rachel's and their father-in-law held her prisoner? It was wrong of her to control how much Carter ate and kinda make her keep on doing ballet, but other than that what was so wrong with her lol. One of the few things I liked about the book was when Rachel gave Carter more food to eat, that got my heart like🥲🥺

Right?! Like when I read it the suspense and anticipation was so much fun, but afterwards thinking back on it I'm like...what on earth was all that -_- XD
