Nice. Do you want to start or me? Though it kind of makes more sense if you do. But I can if you want.
Hoyoung had been making good money at this rent-a-boyfriend company. He was the face of all the ads since he was quite beautiful. People always asked for him, he had the most customers. He was walking to work when he saw himself on one of the billboards.
Hoyoung had just gotten into work and was greeted with lots of smiles and swooning. He softly smiled and waved at everyone. "Hey," he said nervously to them all. He sat down and waited for a customer to request him for the day.
Hoyoung got a message saying he was requested. He looked at it and sighed. He hoped this person wasn't weird and creepy like some others. So he opened up the site's chat. "Hello" he said.
"You requested someone. So where do you want to meet? What do you need me to do for you?" he asked in the message.
Hoyoung smiled and got ready to meet him. He had to make sure he was presentable before he left and headed to the cafe.
Hoyoung sat there waiting patiently for him to arrive. He didn’t really know who he was waiting for but he figured they would know him.
Hoyoung saw him enter and look around so he figured and hoped it was for him. So he stood up and slowly made his way over to him.
He smiled and softly laughed. “Hello.” He said with a slight bow as he lead him over to the table. “I was hoping you were here for me. You’re quite attractive.” He said casually.
He noticed his nervousness and gently smiled. "Thank you. But no need to be nervous. I don't bite, I promise."
"Oh, I see. But if you've ever been on a date before, then it shouldn't be hard. That's basically what it is." he said softly. "So what did you need me for again?"
“I see. So does that mean you need me to come over and meet your parents? Or…what did you need me to do?” He asked.
"A few weeks? Hang out for a few weeks? I'm probably busy. You'd have to 'rent' me for that." he said softly. "But I can come with you to meet your parents. I've done that before."((sorry, got busy))
"Why are you so uncomfortable with me? You're the one who wanted me." he said calmly, trying not to sound rude or come of too strongly.
He nodded and looked down into his lap. He thought he was the reason he was uncomfortable so he just stayed quiet after that.
"Uh, yes...unless you want my Instagram." he said with a slight shrug as he took out his phone just in case he did want it.
"It's Hoyoung Bae." he said as he showed him his Instagram page. He couldn't help but glance up at him, since he thought he was pretty attractive.
(ah)He smiled as he received it. "So when did you want me to come meet your parents?" he asked. He was happy to do it but at the same time, not. He had some parents hate on him for it.
"Um...if you message me. Because I probably won't remember that on my own and I don't have work this weekend."
He nods and smiles.-Time Skip-
It was now Saturday and shockingly, Hoyoung remembered. So he got up and showered. Dressing fancy but also casual. He wanted to make a good first impression for his family so things would go well.
He replied, telling him he remembered. "When should I come over?" he asked. "What time?" he was a bit nervous because he didn't want to be the reason things went downhill.
He nodded to himself as he finished getting ready. He had an hour and a half. He curled his hair a bit and then watched tv for a bit.
Hoyoung arrived at 7:20. He was always one to arrive early. He was nervous and he didn't know why. It wasn't like they were actually together or anything. But he summed up the courage and rang the doorbell.
"Hey" he said with his beautiful smile as he walked in. He slightly bowed to everyone and instincts made him instantly take his shoes off as soon as he entered the home.
He gave a slight head bow as he took the food. Holding a fork and spoon was weird for him since it wasn't something he was used to. But he wouldn't eat until the others started first.
Hoyoung couldn't even take a bite because she kept asking questions. "Oh...Coffee shop. Kdrama moment I guess." he raised an eyebrow for a second. "Not too long." he said as he brought the food to his mouth.
He looked up and swallowed his food before answering. "I am from Korea." he said, even though everytime he spoke, a New Zealand accent came out.
He looked around and nodded. "I see. No shame in needing help sometimes. We've all been there." he said, giving him a reassuring pat on the back.
"What do you mean? You don't have to pay me anything. I came here on my own." he said with a soft smile.
He pushed it away. "I'm sure. You don't have to. Now come on, I'm supposed to be meeting your family."
He softly laughed. "It's okay. I've been through worse." he said as he went back to join the others.
He bowed slightly and took the ice cream. "Thank you." He said with a small smile as he sat down and ate the ice cream.
Hoyoung quietly ate his ice cream, not noticing him staring. He was really just shocked that his mom wasn't asking so many questions. Not that he really minded it.
"Well, I do write music, and I do advertisements. I've actually been on quite a few things, but nothing too special to tell you the truth."
"Uhh...something like that. I guess you can say that but not entirely." he didn't really know what else to say about his occupation so he just shrugged.
“No, No. I’m serious. I don’t need anything. Besides, your family wasn’t too bad. Just asked a lot of questions. I’ve met families that would argue with me there so it’s fine, really.”
