June ~ 'Wedding Belles'
I will be reading Heaven Sent Husband
. Though you can't see her face, it is very obvious that there's a 'wedding belle' on the cover!

I don't know that I'll read anything with a bride on the cover, but will give it a go.
Here's one I enjoyed for anyone seeking ideas:

I'm in. I'm planning to read some of the following:
(6/2/24)
Mail Order Brides:
Finish series:
Janice Thompson's wedding series:
I will read a novella with bride on cover since this seems to be outside my wheelhouse. This appears to be a cleaner book than most per reviews for author, so giving her a try.(Not clean, 7 pages very graphic)
A Chance in Time

that's one of the things that's great about each month's focus . . . if it's not something that 'vibes' with you, you can just skip it and rejoin the next time something catches your eye! 😊

I think a spent hours trying to search titles that could have a bride. Tried even to think of war brides that wore uniforms or simple clothes, etc. TBD if the book was a good pick, ask me in a few weeks when I get to it… xo
I’m in! I will probably only read one or two and then focus on some other challenges I’m falling behind on.

for this challenge, since it's a cover challenge, could you please link to the cover? 🙂

Completed the novella today, very quick read, but had to skip over about 7 pages of the 76 page book.

I know you said the book itself is graphic, but would you mind posting the cover?

I thought we could not post books unless fit the criteria for the group.
. ??? Let me know and I can delete the post.
as long as you post a content warning, if you've used the book for a challenge, you're ok to post it, but obviously, as a general rule, we prefer our books to be squeaky clean 😉
since you did post a content warning, you're fine . . . and the cover itself isn't offensive, so that's good
(Andrea, and Staci, if my understanding of the guidelines is incorrect, please do let me know!)

Hi Kate does it count if the bride on the front is in normal clothes but is a bride during the story?
that's actually a good question, Charlene . . . if you can provide evidence that she does marry in the story itself (like a quote), then I'll give it to you, even if she's in plain clothes on the cover 🙂
Thanks Kate! #1

This month's challenge is super simple. I look forward to seeing what people will choose to read for it!
