You know, I really have no idea what I've just read/listened to. It was just so strange and I definitely do not want to live in this world of constant desolate winter. At the start, I thought, ooh, zombie, ok, this could be interesting but I have to admit that I don't deal well with protagonists I find annoying and while Charlie Worthing is not too badly annoying; there were just times that I be like, "really? you were just that impulsive that not even 1 second's hesitation / thought pass through your mind?" Argh!
I have enjoyed author's Thursday Next series and even Shades of Grey but I think this one is a miss for me. I didn't find it funny and even if I thought there were enough twists to make this quite unpredictable, I wonder whether that's because the narrator/protagonist was just so naive. Anyway, I do see quite a few fans out there so it's me... not the book.
