So to start things off, my name is Marci and I run a booktube channel as well as a blog. I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, and one of my favorite things to do growing up was go to my school's weekly bookclub.

I'm going to school to become an elementary school teacher, and would also enjoy focusing on special education. My favorite book is The Great Gatsby and I love so many different authors that I cannot choose just one. I'm currently reading Emma and Gone Girl and so far I'm enjoying them both.

I would love to see this group grow and become a place where people enjoy to go to read with others and discuss what they are reading. :)

My name is Josh and I am an English major in my last semester of college. My dream is to become a writer of either horror or speculative fiction, but writing in general is just something I enjoy doing.

I thoroughly enjoy reading and I enjoy reading horror and speculative fiction, thrillers, and literary fiction. In this group, I hope to be able to broaden my horizons in the works of literature we read. I want to become more diverse and learn much more of what reading has to offer.

Hi, everybody! I'm Rachael. I am an aspiring actor, current booktuber. I enjoy reading any genre, but my favorite is fantasy. My all time favorite book is The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. I am currently reading The City of Ashes. I am also joining in on a Chronicles of Narnia read a long as soon as I finish book 2 of The Mortal instruments. What kind of books do I hope to read in this group? Well, honestly anything new. I love hearing about new things. I would be interested in reading new things just to learn and broaden my own horizons. Basically, I will read it if someone in this group recommends it, lol.

Hi all,
My name is Julie, and I found this group by happenstance but am very excited. I graduated college about a year ago, and tried to do an online bookclub with my friends, but it kept fizzling. I tried to join a local one, but it seems I can never make it, so perhaps the internet will be better. :) I am currently reading some of Helen Oyeyemi's books. I hate to say it, but I don't know if I have a favorite book-there are too many good ones out there! I hope to read books that are engaging, and to extent ones that challenge me to think outside the box a little!
