Do you prefer the challenge be ran monthly or for 2 months at a time?
If you are a current participant of the challenge, please share what you like and what you think could be improved.
If you aren't a participant of this challenge, what would entice you to join?
Any other ideas or suggestions that you'd like to share?
I've been participating for quite awhile in this challenge and really love it. Here is what I really like about it:* Each Month is a different theme
* You can choose 1, 2, or 3 books
April and May was the first time that we did it in a 2 month increment. Honestly, I think I like that much better than month to month.
I’ve liked both ways. Month to month gives more of a variety of themes but every two months a longer period to read them incase you can’t fit all the picks in one month
Angie, I don't think I've ever done this challenge with this group, but I've done Pick One for Me in another group and enjoy it. Honestly, I was enticed to join when I saw that you'll be running the challenge. I have no idea who had been running it already so that's not to say ANYTHING bad about the MOD who previously did it. I just happened to see that you'll be doing it and said, OK I gotta try it! I would like the 2 month challenge, I think, but I'll let those who've already done both speak to that with a little experience in their belt. :)

Yes. The two month version is so much better.
HI - this is my favorite of all the HOB games. I like having the themes - doesn't matter if it is for one month or two. I wish all the participants would make a shelf just for this game and only list books that are the current months theme. Seeing a TBR shelf of 500 books to pick 1 to 6 is daunting.
I do like the two month version better than the one month. I really screwed it last time but I have high hopes for this next couple months. I also like the themes and love the variety that my partner picked/picks for me. I never thought of it being daunting to pick books from our main TBR but the next time around I can work on making a shelf to make it easier. I love having different opinions on how people's brains work and what makes things easier for people.

I would like your thoughts on the timing of the Partner Pick Challenge.
I like the 2 month setup versus a 1 month one. I am thinking of changed the timing to stay within the year. So instead of having a December - January month, the months would change to follow a calendar year.
That would mean changing the October-November and the December-January challenge this year.
Would you prefer to have a 1 time 3-month challenge or a 1 time single month challenge?
Below are the options; can you let me know your preference?
1) A three month challenge that runs Oct - Dec 2026
2) One two month and a month challenge, Oct-Nov 2026 and Dec 2026
3) One two month and a month challenge, Oct 2026 and Nov-Dec 2026
