I'm going to read one of two books I own on my TBR:Dopamine Nation
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a &*()
I plan to read Atomic Habits to meet prompt #39: Non-fiction recommended by a friend as well as Popsugar's #11: A book from a genre you typically avoid. it will satisfying to get a hat trick for this one.
I'll read Mark Shand – Travels on My Elephant, a book about getting away from the hectic modern life and letting nature back in.
I read Girl Meets Boy by Ali Smith. It was about balancing between genders, both literally and metaphorically.

I already planned on double dipping, but a hat trick is awesome too! I have Atomic habits under gold cover, but am likely going to use it for both now.
I read Balance: A Dizzying Journey Through the Science of Our Most Delicate Sense by Carol Svec. Someone could also use it for women in STEM, because she meets with several female experts.
Read the book "Star Wars: Be More Yoda. Mindful thinking from a galaxy far far away". Enjoyed it very much and some truths in it for sure! It's basically a self help mindfulness book, with quotes and puns borrowed from the Star Wars movies.
My book club is reading Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones and I thought that it was a good fit for finding balance.
I finished The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck by Mark Manson. I now know I am happier than many people because there are a lot of things people worry about (like their clothes or what other people think of them) that I just don't give a ^&*( about
I read Amour Amour by Krista Ritchie. Its about acrobats in a Cirque du Soleil type show. So they are actually balancing while performing acts, but also balancing the personal and professional while in a relationship.
I read Kiss Me at Christmas by Jenny Bayliss. The main character, Harriet, spends way too much time working as the book begins and part of her journey in the novel is to let others pitch in and take on some of the tasks. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2024...

10) Balance Beam: About finding balance in life
For this prompt, we’re looking for a book about finding balance in life. This prompt works equally well as either fiction or non-fiction. The definition of “finding balance in life” will look different for each of us but overall, the book you choose should tackle this topic in some form or another. Some examples may include a character who has an unhealthy work-life balance and wants to (or is forced to) change that, a book about setting boundaries, a character who is finally taking time for themselves, etc. Finding balance could be about any area of life.
You can find the Goodreads list for this prompt, here!
