Brooke’s “friend” Hoda brought her to the party, saw her go in the bedroom with Todd to “hook up” but also saw him leave and the other guys go in. Did she not care or was she too much under the influence to look out for Brooke?

Hoda wasn't alarmed at all that Todd came out of the room and a bunch of guys went in. At first I thought that was because she was drunk/high. But Hoda was alarmed when Hugo's brother started killing people. She knew enough to hide in the closet and not make a sound. It makes me wonder if she knew what was going on in that bedroom and didn't do anything to help Brooke.

I agree with Robin. I don't think Hoda was 100% aware of what was happening in the room. Considering that she went back to save Brooke and endangered herself in the process, it seems that she does care about Brooke. Nevertheless, a better friend would not have taken her there to begin with.

Hoda knew something was up when boys were going in an out of the room. She never should have taken Brooke to the party.

I found it odd that Hoda wasn't concerned when the extra boys were taking their turn with Brooke, but suddenly was aware that she and Brooke were in danger from the shooter and with it enough to get them out of the house and away.
