Now Anya is the person who always keeps the ball rolling. She is a mess of smiles, laughter, and occasional screw-ups -- determination, music, and pride. Being born in New Orleans has crafted her into the rambunctious curly headed disaster she is now. Her mother and father have raised her to have goals and to live your live to the fullest. She would say she is more like her father, Naveen, in most senses, physically and mentally ( their matching amber eyes do link them together. ) She does tend to have some of her mother's traits of course, even though her mother is the one who tends to be the overbearing stoic type--even though her father can be classified as one of the most protective fathers out there. Anya is very family-orientated, being as close as she is to her own family, and is very impressionable--for her parents sheltered her from the bad aspects of life.

She's stubborn to an unbelievable extent, twice as brazen, and can't help but let whatever comes to mind fly from her mouth. There's really no filter on this girl at all. What you get is what you see, and you'll just have to settle for that. Or that's what Reyna will have you believe. To be honest, she's not that bad. Yeah, she has her issues. There's no denying that she's judgmental and she's definitely rude, but she isn't a villain. Not like she was painted to be and not like her mother was. No, she's different in that way.
You see, Reyna's not terrible. She's just... well, misunderstood. It's cliche and she knows it, and maybe that's why she tries to hide it so much, but she really was never as terrible as people made her out to be. If you ask, people will tell you that she hates the daughters and sons of the "good" royalty. She doesn't. They'll tell you that she hates everyone. It's not true. In fact, Reyna is more loyal than half of the "good" people at this school. Add to that the fact that she's actually quite smart and incredibly sensitive. It's the reason she gets frustrated so often. "It's both a blessing and a curse to feel things so deeply." Truer words have never been spoken. She can't help but feel everything deeply; she can't help but care for her friends, even when they're being ridiculous. It's a blessing, but a curse.
