I didn’t know what this book was til someone nominated it. I’m surprised it was so popular in voting (Float was one point behind)

I've read 7 or 8 chapters, and it's really interesting so far.

The worldbuilding is intriguing. One thing that sticks out to me about the worldbuilding is that, while in most Fae stories, true names hold power, and you should never let anyone know yours, in this book, you aren't supposed to let anyone see your true face. So all the Fae wear masks.

I've now read 25 chapters. It's still pretty interesting, but the politics aren't on par with The Cruel Prince. I also feel like the romance isn't very developed.

Is anyone else even reading this? I know some of you must have voted for it lol.

But what I don’t like is that people vote and they never read the book. The only reason I don’t read most BOTM books is bc I’m not old enough, I only nominate books my age and up

Well, this one has been completely clean so far, unless you count her kissing someone she isn't interested in.

But yeah, that's annoying. I might just not reread TCP after all, since it doesn't look like anyone's reading that either. I DO have it checked out already tho...

Why? I just don't understand. When I don't think I'll read any of the books, I just don't vote.
