Author: Lory Lilian
Title: His Uncle's Favourite: A Pride and Prejudice Variation
ASIN: B0C9XJR1KL
Publication date: June 30 2023
edition: 3
format: Kindle
pages: Print length ‏ : ‎ 598 pages
Description: Author’s Note: This is the third edition of the book - first published ten years ago - and there are no significant changes in it. The story is re-published with a new cover, but it brings nothing new to the readers who already purchased or read it!
His Uncle’s Favourite is recommended for a more mature audience. It contains intimate scenes between our dear couple after their wedding. The scenes are steamy and detailed, but romantic, tastefully done and useful for the plot and characters’ development.
The story begins shortly after Mr Bingley and his party have left Netherfield.
After visiting Longbourn for Christmas, their Aunt Gardiner persuades Jane and Elizabeth Bennet to spend time with her in London.
There, the girls encounter familiar faces and intriguing new acquaintances.
As fate would have it, their aunt’s Gracechurch Street home is frequented by very close members of Mr. Darcy’s family, and Elizabeth discovers that she and Mr. Darcy’s uncle – Lord Matlock - have more than one favourite in common.
Readers will be taken from Longbourn to London, then to Kent, to Matlock’s estate and finally home – to Pemberley in a succession of events that will allow Elizabeth and Darcy’s relationship to change dramatically, to improve and grow and eventually to bond for a lifetime.
This is a tale of wrong first impressions, mistaken pride and prejudice, rights and wrongs — a divergent but familiar story of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy’s struggle for happiness.
