A bit out there but does anyone have any good horror book recs that give the same feeling as playing subnautica? Or along the vibe of deep sea, vast, unsettling, deep dark unknown?

I think Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant might fit into this category.or maybe The Deep by Nick Cutter
Some of these are better than others but all involve lots of water and the creepy critters down below:
Cruel Summer
They Came from the Ocean
The Sunken City
Sacculina
The Deep
Cruel Summer
They Came from the Ocean
The Sunken City
Sacculina
The Deep
I second Sacculina.Another fitting your request is the latest by Thomas Olde Heuvelt, titled Oracle. "along the vibe of deep sea, vast, unsettling, deep dark unknown?" Oh yes, very!
I don't play Subnautica but here's a couple of title set in the oceans. They Rise
From Below
Pressure
Fury of the Orcas
I recently finished reading Nick Cutter's The Deep. That book does a great job of giving the reader a claustrophobic, unsettling fear of the unknown. It's already been mentioned a couple of times, but I thought it was worth mentioning again. 🪸
This author writes sea horror mainly:Michael R. Cole
and I read these books by him:
Thresher
Scar
That is to add to what others have mentioned above. :)
