Mandy Sickle (thereadingdiaries) | 1343 comments Finished I'll wait till you guys do

Avigail (avigailr) | 103 comments I started yesterday and I am 10% it is an ok YA for now.

Laila Jane (axlilxlala) | 781 comments I'm a little behind. I got all caught up watching Season 3 of Bridgerton, and my reading suffered. Just started this last night and so far it's pretty cute

Avigail (avigailr) | 103 comments I finished the book today in one sitting. It is a sweet YA. It has been a couple of months since I read a YA that I enjoyed and gave it 3.5 stars.

Mandy Sickle (thereadingdiaries) | 1343 comments I thought it was a sweet ya too. A quick read that I finished I'm 2 quick sessions. I'm going to give it a 4 because I enjoyed it

Laila Jane (axlilxlala) | 781 comments I finally finished. I agree with both of you, this was a sweet read. I loved how close Meredith's family was and how they had this yearly trip to Martha's Vineyard and played their version of Assassin. This is something I would love to do with my family if we ever managed to all meet up at the same location at the same time.

I like how the trip also helped Meredith get closure on her sister's death. It was sad what happened to her, but I didn't get attached enough to cry. This would've been an automatic 5 star read if it managed to make me cry lol

As far at the romance, it was cute. But I'm now almost 20 years older than MC, and I have the mindset of a parent. And sometimes I couldn't help but think, "Do her parents know what she's up to?" I don't read too much YA anymore, unless it's fantasy, and this book reminded me why. I rated it 4 stars because overall I did enjoy it
