Superhero Clue Challenge:
For this third team quarterly challenge, we wanted to bring you all back some Clue. This time around, our suspects, weapons, and locations will be all about superheroes.

There will be 25 suspects, weapons, and locations. Each category will have two tasks and teams will work together to complete the categories. Each team will be given a conclusion that they will be working towards figuring out. The conclusion will have one suspect, weapon, and location.

Once a team completes both of the tasks for a category, they will be notified if it is or isn’t the suspect, weapon, or location. This will be posted on the team’s review thread about the completion post. For example,

If a team posted the following,

Player 1 reads The Sweetest Oblivion for Deadpool's 'Read a book from the Anti Hero Books shelf' task
Player 2 reads Double Pucked for Catwoman's 'MPG Sports' task
Player 3 reads My Sister’s Keeper for Deadpool's 'MC has cancer' task

I would do scores and let you know whether Deadpool is the suspect or not. If he is, you no longer have to look for a suspect and continue searching for the weapon and location. If not, then you must resume searching for the suspect.

All books will be counted towards one category and once the scores are updated, there is no switching. So, should you guess a weapon and it happens to not be the weapon in your conclusion, the books used for those two categories are done and cannot be moved. But, for example, should there be five posts on the review thread when I go to update scores, and the first post out of the five guesses the correct weapon but post two is also guessing a weapon, you can repost that book for another category. I will comment when doing a score update on which books can be reposted in another category.

To reiterate, BOOKS CANNOT BE MOVED ONCE THEY ARE COUNTED FOR POINTS! If you want to move a book around before I post scores, you must comment again on your review thread what you want to switch it to. But once scores are updated and your book is counted towards a certain category, there is no changing it.

The team's conclusions will be chosen randomly. Yes, you can get a repeat suspect, weapon, or location, so do not think that if you’ve had a suspect already, you cannot get them in a future conclusion. You might still need to read for those categories.

Bonus Points:
Each team will get 10 bonus points for each conclusion they finish. That means you will need to figure out who the suspect, weapon, and location are every time before the challenge clock runs out!

This challenge will only take place during the months of July, August, & September. That means, books will be accepted from July 1st to September 30th. The winners will be announced on October 1st.

If you start a book before July, you will only be able to count the pages that you read in July for this challenge. If the page amount is over 100 pages, you can still count it towards a category.

When signing up, please mention the number of books you plan on reading for the months of July, August, & September. This number will make it easier for me to make teams match up a bit more evenly.

Alaina - 20 bpm
Andy - 5 bpm
Aly - 25 bpm

**You will not be penalized if you go over or under your number.**

150 - 249 pages → 2 pts
250 - 349 pages → 3 pts
350 - 449 pages → 4 pts

550 - 649 pages → 6 pts
650 - 749 pages → 7 pts
750 - 849 pages → 8 pts
850 - 949 pages → 9 pts
950+ pages → 10 pts
