Olivermagnus (lynda11282) | 5000 comments Well that was a mistake. I added six books to my already gigantic TBR.

LOL Lynda!

Theresa | 16207 comments Well, I was relieved when there were several already on my TBR. I still added even more because a TBR can never be too big but always sits on the edge of too small. Regardless of how massive it is.

Thank you for posting these lists. I hurt while I read the list - I will never get through all of them. How can NPR go wrong? peace, janz

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11310 comments I usually love the NPR picks.

I’m glad to see The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley on the list. It’s a debut and we’re planning a buddy read for it in July.

The nonfiction books look really interesting too. A couple fit the July letters

Burn Book: A Tech Love Story by Kara Swisher

Invisible Rulers: The People Who Turn Lies into Reality by Renee DiResta

Smoke and Ashes: A Writer's Journey through Opium's Hidden Histories By Amitav Ghosh

Holly R W | 3261 comments Towards the end of the year, NPR will publish their "Best of 2024" list, which I always think is one of the best lists of top books.

I haven't read many of the books mentioned here (and some I've tried, but found not to my liking.) The two that I liked were: The Fox Wife and Table for Two.

Robin P | 6143 comments I added 4 but I already had 4 on my Want to Read and 3 on my Owned (already purchased but not read).

I may have shared with this group before that when I think of someday no longer being on earth, I don't first think of missing my family, but of all the new books I will miss out on!
