Welcome to our July/August 24 buddy read of Lock No. 1 aka The Lock at Charenton the eighteenth in the Inspector Maigret series, first published in 1933.

The classic Inspector Maigret mystery set in a claustraphobic provincial town

Can you believe we're already up to the 18th Maigret book, and yet we're still quite early in the series?

Who's going to be reading this one? I haven't started it yet but am sure it will be a compelling read, as usual.
