According to Goodreads, it took me 4 years to finish this book. Short stories are not my cup of tea, and even if they were well-written, I tended to get bored and opt for something else. Of course, there were some I really liked, and some I didn't, the rating is an average of my opinions.

What did I like?

I liked that there was a central theme. I liked that the stories were a bit philosophical (although this is part of the reason it took me so long to read it; philosophy needs time to think about it). I liked the descriptions and the world.

Compared to the previous, it didn't have such a strong Eastern-European feeling, and I missed that.

Now I can finally start the actual novel, and I hope it will go down faster.
