Well, now that I've been reminded that I forgot to include this on my spreadsheet when updating my November BRs, I've downloaded it and plan to read it soon...
I read it a few days ago and it is more of the same which I was here for so I enjoyed it, if you made it this far then you will doubtlessly enjoy it as well. I tried to explain this at book club Sunday and they were looking at me like I was crazy lol
Timelord Iain wrote: "She's a holy cleaner... cleanliness is next to godliness, after all ;)"I had a conversation with my 9-yo nephew about the pros (his opinion) and cons (my opinion) of wearing shoes in bed and was thinking about this book the entire time lol
I had to check Royal Road for the chapter name on chapter 17 of this one:
Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-One (since the web serial is just one long book) - The Dread Cute-ulu
Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-One (since the web serial is just one long book) - The Dread Cute-ulu
Also... this is an ongoing story with over 500 chapters... so despite no new audio releases in awhile, there's enough content for at least 10-12 books, I think... only 5 on audio so far...
Volume 6 is in production, but last update I saw was a reddit comment response from 8 months ago with a bunch of audiobook info:
Hmm, I sometimes don't have exact dates for releases, and when I get them I'm really bad about letting people know. But, I drew this up just for you:
Sporemageddon: 2024-04-23
Dead Tired 2: Sometime next month?
Cinnamon Bun Vol 6: Contract signed! Manuscript not sent
Stray Cat Strut Vol 6: Manuscript Sent! Audio in production
Fluff 3: Contract signed! Manuscript not sent
Heart of Dorkness 1-2: Contract signed! Manuscript not sent
Noblebright: Contract signed! Manuscript not sent
---
Some of these are out now, others aren't yet...

I meant 10-12 books including the books we've read so far... to be clear...
It IS more than I expected, but it's being written right now... web serials just tend to keep going and going... last chapter came out 6 days ago...
The overarching plot of the series is the evil machinations of that shapeshifting Adventurer's Guild guy... trying to push the world to war...
And Broccoli Bunch & company ARE trying to foil that... but they also tend to get mired in "Side Quests"...
I mean... Broccoli figured out things were bad with the Adventure Guild guy at the end of book 2, and book 3-4 have been spent just trying to go to the other country for the peace talks/delegation, and getting side tracked with the Bun Bun village and the (view spoiler)...
I can only imagine how many more things will crop up in the future...

And Done... I think it's fair to say that ended right where I expected, from my previous comment...
I am hoping to catch up with this one in time to read 5 with you in December. I am still in Volume 1 but love it so far. This is the type of story I really enjoy reading.
she really hates that cute/adorable skill :D
But everything she has helps her with her unorthodox problem-solving...

I read this a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it! The cozy got me through some busy. (view spoiler)
Oh, and TY @Iain for all the new release/updates information. Also a bit surprised to see just the pure volume of this series that is still out there... Sounds like the author has multiple ongoing series... I wonder if she has an endgame in sight for any of them? What was the writing term? Pantser?
The author has many ongoing series... not sure on Pantser vs Planner, and how they manage to juggle so many series... I'm interest in about 1/2 to 3/4 of their series... not sure about Stray Cat Strut their other long-running series with many audiobooks...
I think the author has too many series on Royal Road (like 30 different ones)...
But, most were either quickly abandoned or revamped and started over, to refine the concept I think...
Basically, I think it just FEELS like the author has too many books/series, because Royal Road lets us see everything they try, rather than "traditional" authors, who have like a dozen failed books before they become accomplished writers...
Anything with only a few chapters, and on hiatus for years, probably isn't worth reading unless super curious...
