Any of Mary Renault's books: The King Must Die, a story based around Theseus; The Bull from the Sea, based around the Minotaur bull jumping and Crete; The Funeral Games, Alexander the Great and his Empire and after. She is absolutely the best writer of Greek myths I’ve ever come across. Anything by her is thrilling and lets you enter the ancient Greek world. PS. I loved the song of Achilles.
Queer Heroes of Myth and Legend: A celebration of gay gods, sapphic saints, and queerness through the ages by Dan Jones is so good! I recommend it!
Lore by Alexandra bracken is super good and Lovely War is a romance historical fiction about WW1 but it's narrated by Greek gods and goddesses
Ooooh yes, try The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner! Not direct Greek mythology but she pulled from them a lot and is one of my favorite series of all time - make sure to read thru at least book 2 before making any judgements on the series, the first book becomes better the more you read!
