Diane Papavero | 17 comments I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read with a couple of interesting plot twists. Would definitely recommend.

T | 16 comments Received the audiobook from the library.....need to finish the current June book, but snuck in a few quick listens. I like how they have different narrator voices for each character. Should be a good read/listen!

Gina O | 3 comments This was hard to put down! Loved the plot twists! Finished in 2 days!!!

Kimberly Hedrick | 5 comments Just picked up the reserve at the library. Sitting at the lake and starting now 🙂

message 5: by T (new)

T | 16 comments About half way through. Am loving the audiobook. As I mentioned prior, the different narrators and voice inflection really conveys the story. Looking forward to the rest of the book.

message 6: by Angela (new)

Angela Howard | 12 comments I am loving the audible so far.

message 7: by Bridget (new)

Bridget Schmidt | 3 comments Just finished this and it was quite good! It got harder to stop reading as the story progressed and the plot got as twisted as the road up to Ashby.

message 8: by Tami (new)

Tami Rossignol | 15 comments Yes, the plot twists, kept me engaged. I agree that as you get farther into the book you feel the need to not put the book down. Also the audio books narration was very good.

message 9: by Dianna (new)

Dianna Isidron | 1 comments Wow…agreed. This audiobook was so well-done. The narration, different voices and almost dramatization of the read kept me hooked. The little surprises along the twists and turns take the reader on a journey through all of the lives. Definitely a good read!

message 10: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Palmer | 1 comments Just finished it, found it captivating. It was easy to read. I'm tempted to re-read it to see if I missed anything. Sounds like I should to listen to the audio version. Thanks to the person who mentioned it was on Kindle Unlimited! I typically get books from the library and this one has an 18-week wait.

message 11: by Janet (new)

Janet Steffen | 14 comments I enjoyed this so much I recommended to my neighbor, she got it from the library and read it in one day, Great choice.

T | 16 comments Finished this book today. I am sure a good read as well, but the audiobook was great. This was a good club pick, thanks!

Do it, Stephanie....get the audiobook, you will not be disappointed!

message 14: by Patty (new)

Patty Rae | 2 comments Enjoyed this book very much. Loved the plot twists as they had me rooting for certain things to happen. Ruby was a character for sure.
Made me want to read more of this author’s work.

Angela Howard | 12 comments Just finished The Heiress. Very good. I did have a few things figured out beforehand.

message 16: by Kim (new)

Kim C. | 1 comments Just wrapped the audio version of the Heiress. Great book! Enjoyed the twists snd turns. I’m not a big audio book person but they did a really good job of narrating.

So happy everyone seems to be enjoying the book this month!

I thought it was good as well. But, like Angela, I did have a few things figured out pretty early on. I kept reading just to find out if I was right.

message 18: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly Hedrick | 5 comments Discussion question: Did anyone else figure that something was going on with Grace from the beginning? I wondered if she was really Ruby's birthmother and took her away.

Discussion question: I loved how Camden didn't buy into the whole family thing and never really felt like he fit in. I like how it came out later that Ruby kinda pitted him against everyone to snub them. He must have had a very awful upbringing. A wonder he turned out pretty normal!

message 19: by Priscilla (new)

Priscilla | 4 comments I thought something was off with her at the beginning. Especially when she said I’ll have to tell him at some point and her fascination with being there and wanting all the nice things.

message 20: by CS (new)

CS | 3 comments I knew something was not quite right with her. However, I thought it was more of a gold digger thing. I didn’t anticipate her actual involvement and thought it was a great twist!

message 21: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly Hedrick | 5 comments @CS agreed!

message 22: by Buffy (new)

Buffy Welch | 1 comments Started reading The Heiress. Everyone’s comments left me confused. When am I going to get it? The synopsis looked good. Comments had me hooked. Then WHY am I not liking the book. HMM right title wrong author. 🤣🤣🤣 I will start again.

message 23: by Tami (new)

Tami Rossignol | 15 comments Buffy, I don’t know if you’re reading or listening to this book. I found listening was nice because the characters were so well dramatized. But as with any book, sometimes I have to be “in the mood!”
