Fee | 28 comments I love it when the heroine is the one making all the moves. One awesome book springs to mind by Jane Cousins. Book 9 in her awesome Southern Sanctuary series - To Vex A Valkyrie To Vex A Valkyrie (Southern Sanctuary, #9) by Jane Cousins

Okay our bloodthirsty heroine initially chases our celibate hero for sex. But soon she’s reluctantly falling for him. And treading in distinctly unfamiliar territory decides to win his heart.

What about you? Can u recommend any reads where the heroine is the one chasing the hero?

Alexa | 17 comments We need more books like this! I went through my paranormal romance shelf scratching my head which plots I remember have the heroine chasing after the hero and only found two. One of them is YA so it doesn't count exactly lol

In Kiss of a Demon King (Immortals After Dark, #6) by Kresley Cole in the Immortals After Dark series, Sabine the Queen of Illusions goes after Rydstrom, the King of Rage demons with the objective to seduce him. She is team Evil, he is not. And then he turns the tables on her. Sizzling erotic romance with spicy elements and a hefty dose of humor too.

I found a couple more from my contemporary erotic romance/BDSM shelf which I will not post since it's out of topic, but yeah, we need more refreshing plots like this.

I adored to Vex a Valkyrie - it was awesome and funny. And the premise was refreshing. But I'm scratching my head trying to come up with one other pnr/uf book that features the h pursuing the H.

Wow, authors, get to it. Serious gap in the market

Kristen Brennan Would you consider Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments series a heroine chasing the hero? The first three books there is much back and forth on who is who, but in books 4-6, I think she is clearly chasing him.
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare
City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare
City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3) by Cassandra Clare
City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4) by Cassandra Clare
City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5) by Cassandra Clare
City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6) by Cassandra Clare
