Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, School for Good and Evil

okay so i only read the first book and dnf'd the 2nd BUT i might give it a shot again because i have fomo i don't want to miss out while everyone's reading and hyping the new book so i'm forcing myself to get through it

I love the shatter me series 😭
i think this chat is such a good idea because i think it's so much harder to find good books for tweens than it was 5(-ish) years ago, everything is so mature these days it's crazy (I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A BOOMER)
frrr, i am such a baby but smvt lowkey makes me so uncomfortable and its so hard to find fantasy books with a silly little romance

for older ones The Lunar Chronicles maybe?? i recently read it and found it too simple/boring but maybe it’s better for a younger group
