i think this chat is such a good idea because i think it's so much harder to find good books for tweens than it was 5(-ish) years ago, everything is so mature these days it's crazy (I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A BOOMER)

amaira 🤍 (danny bear + ruin the friendship’s version) | 389 comments out of my mind, Harry Potter, Land of Stories for younger tweens (loved these)

for older ones The Lunar Chronicles maybe?? i recently read it and found it too simple/boring but maybe it’s better for a younger group

Baylee | 27 comments OMG anyone who read out of my mind out of my heart and out of my dream? All by Sharon M. Draper. I cannot stop reading these and there is a Disney+ movie about it. You need to check it out.

Sophie Foster | 17 comments It is soooo good and it has a cute romance between the fmc and the annoying sidekick that only really comes up in the last few books
