100% read it! it is a very long 8 book series but it is worth it for sure! I would tandem read books 6&7 to make reading a bit easier. TOG changed my life though it is incredible!!
of course!! it is a long book series but it sucked me in and kept me hooked the entire time so def try it out
110% worth it! This whole series is amazing. You'll find it slow when you get to Tower of Dawn, but in the end, it's worth it!
SOOOOOO worth it! I fell in love with this series and the characters, and it got me back into reading!
Best series I've ever read, 100% worth it. It keeps you hooked the whole time and you will fall in love with the characters.
The series starts slowly, but it does pick up a lot of steam throughout and in my opinion is better written than ACOTAR. Especially if you really like SJM you might actually fall in love with it. I personally started with Assassin's Blade (which is the prequel book) and that kinda helped me keep going through the first two TOG books because it was a peek at an improved writing style and expanded world building. However everyone is going to tell you something different abut wether you should start with Throne of Glass or Assassin's Blade, so it's really up to you.
TOG is my favorite series ever. And, if you've already read ACOTAR, look for easter eggs that connect each series by Ms. Maas :)
TOG is better than ACOTAR and Crescent City for sure. The plot goes crazy and the characters are all so complex and amazing. But they're not overpowered. TOG is stunning.
Yes definitely loved this series. Just for the record, the first book is quite misleading in terms of plot, but it just gets better and better. Last book kind of broke me tho.
I loved ACOTAR and throne of glass but got bored in the second and 3rd book and have not gone back to it yet
It is SO worth it. I would recommend reading Assassin's Blade after Crown of Midnight, so you understand the characters better.
YES YES YES! Omg 100%. If I could reread this series for the first time again all my dreams would come true.
I think the series gets better with the years, but to me the first book was just meh and I had to dnf the second one because it was completely predictable. I would recommend it to people that is starting to read fantasy, though. unpopular opinion: Celaena is not the best female character ever written or the strongest, we keep on seeing written that she is the best assanssin and whatever but her actions do not prove it!!
What I would say, is push through! Books 1-3 are good, but books 4-7 are simply *chefs kiss*. Definitely read it!
