Dia | 386 comments I've finished Spring.

I have to be honest, I'm glad within the first 2 chapters, some of my questions were answered. (like the boxes can't have all appeared at the same time in different timezones etc).

however, the many different POVs means that I don't care for any of the characters at this point. the only part I'm really enjoying is the exchange of letters between Ben and Amie.

I like some of the themes such as politicians are already abusing some of their power and looking to marginalise people even more according to their strings. it'll be interesting to see the repercussions. it is an interesting concept and there's a lot to think about, but because I don't care for any of the characters, I find it hard to care about what comes next hahha

maybe it's because I have a different outlook and I know I'll die someday, I find it hard to empathise with the way some of the short strings react such as killing others (but then again when you know your life is short and you're not a good person, I suppose you'll act on things you want to do knowing that you'll die quickly and thus won't be punished by law for it etc.). like if I had a short string I'd make sure to enjoy life to the fullest and do all the things I want to instead of panicking.

*. tina 。⋆୨୧˚ (whatistinareading) | 52 comments do you think you would open yours? i feel like it would be such an anxiety filled thing for me. if i don't, everybody around me would be talking about it; if i do, i get paranoid either way since the long string doesn't mean you'll live a good life. you could only be tolerating and getting through it.

it would be interesting to see a 22 year old who just received their box. i like where hank and amie's storylines are going and i'm curious to see where jack, javier, and anthony's gonna go, but i'm not really excited for it.

Dia | 386 comments oh yes, I definitely will, without a doubt. I prefer knowing so I can plan accordingly. I'm curious to see what Jack and Javier decides as well but again, I don't really care about what happens hahha
