The political double-speak by both the National Party and the ANC marred the truth process. Neither were committed to the truth, and this filtered down to the lesser participants. As with the ANC government today, the rank and file are called upon to carry the blame. We still carry the unresolved anger and frustration today, as witnessed in our politics.
