Anthony Segarra (anthonysegarrabooks) | 1 comments Hi, I’m Anthony Segarra, a new author navigating the complexities of the publishing industry. Like many of you, I have a deep passion for writing. My debut novel, which I worked on for 18 years, was finally published this July. Balancing family, work, and school made this journey both challenging and rewarding.

Growing up in NYC with hearing-impaired parents, I was inspired from a young age to write stories that blend reality and fantasy. This blend gives me a unique perspective on life in general. My book combines drama, affection, family, and of course, magic and action, offering a perspective that I hope readers will enjoy. So far, my college friends have been enjoying the book!

I’m especially proud that my daughter created the cover art for my book, which was highly praised by my editors.

This is my first time here, and I’m eager to learn from the community environment. I'm also active on social media, so feel free to connect with me there. Thank you for reading my introduction.

Benji | 25 comments Curious if anyone would be drawn to an unconventional autobiography—a journey where trauma transforms into art?

Love & Sorcery: My unconventional Autobiography: Naughty Version.

In this tale, I take you deep into a mystical realm where landscapes mirror our own world, fractured and reimagined. Through dark romance and a tapestry of mythical creatures, I share the blueprint of how I survived my ordeals that should have killed me, threading in elements from my developmental studies. This isn’t just my story but a reflection for anyone who’s wrestled with pain or felt helpless in the grip of darkness.

Within its pages, you'll find the delicate balance of pleasure and pain—like a double-edged sword that cuts deep yet reveals hidden truths. Women’s most erotic fantasies intertwine with raw narratives of trauma, offering connection and catharsis for those who need to feel seen and understood.

Within these pages, you’ll find the unspoken truths—the raw, haunting experiences my friends faced as survivors of sexual assault, each story echoing pain from across the globe. This isn’t just a tale of trauma; it’s a collection of voices silenced by fear, betrayal, and a society that shields the guilty while isolating the brave.

For too long, those who suffered were hushed by onlookers, cast aside while their attackers wore masks of virtue. This book is a space to break that silence, to unveil the darkness behind the facade, and to finally give these stories the voice they were denied.

Writing this was a way of relieving the burden of carrying their trauma, allowing the truth to breathe and releasing the weight that has lived within me for so long. If you’ve ever felt unseen or unheard, or if you need to know you’re not alone in the battle for justice and healing, I invite you to witness these stories with me.

Picture an academy with the intrigue of Hogwarts, a land embroiled in war like Lord of the Rings. A love circle similar to Vampire Diaries, and magical creatures with the wisdom of Narnia.

'(^x^My favorite three book series as a kid.^x^)'
& one of the best video series I came across.

This world breathes with rich cultures, unique fashions, and spiritual paths that echo familiar yet distant parts of ourselves. It’s a twist of fate, a dark fantasy that invites readers to explore the beautiful and brutal dance between survival and passion, resilience and release. Curious?

Vylivacha | 1 comments Hey Swifties! 💙 If you love books that make you think, question everything, and maybe even spiral a little (in the best way), Scritti Corsari (Corsair Writings) by Pier Paolo Pasolini is for you. This isn’t your typical novel—it’s a collection of fiery essays from the 1970s where Pasolini calls out society, media, and the way consumerism is changing culture. Basically, if The Man were an Italian intellectual, it’d be Pasolini. 😌
Why You’ll Love It 👀

Pasolini had ZERO chill when it came to speaking his mind. He was bold, passionate, and unafraid to challenge authority—just like Taylor when she reclaims her masters, calls out industry double standards, or drops a surprise album and shakes the world. 🌎🔥 He talks a lot about authenticity, loss, and how society tries to control people (sound familiar?), making his essays feel oddly now, even though they were written decades ago.
Taylor Swift Parallels 🎶

💔 You’re Losing Me – Pasolini was so heartbroken over how Italy was changing, just like Taylor in this song. The pain of watching something you love slip away? He felt it deeply.

🎯 The Archer – Feeling like an outsider, misunderstood, yet super self-aware? Yep, that was Pasolini. He knew he was different, and he wrote about it unapologetically.

📢 Mad Woman – Ever been called dramatic just for speaking your truth? Pasolini gets it. His essays have big “I see through your fake smile” energy.

🥀 Nothing New – The way he talks about culture being exploited and losing its soul is giving Nothing New. The fear of being replaced, of things moving too fast—he was warning everyone, and honestly, he was right.
Final Thoughts ✨

Reading Scritti Corsari is kinda like listening to Folklore for the first time—you might not get everything at first, but you feel it. It’s raw, emotional, and makes you want to scream into the void (in an intellectual way, of course). 😭💭 So grab your annotated playlists, a cozy drink, and let’s get into this masterpiece. 📖💙 #SwiftiesThatRead
