“Greet Suzon for me” (90K) is set in turbulent seventeenth century France, when the autocratic Sun King Louis XIV was bent on eradicating all Huguenot devotees in the name of the One True Catholic faith. Gédéon is a young lad, who finds himself responsible for helping his family flee to Jersey to escape persecution. He also questions the reasons for the religious intolerance and struggles to know what he truly believes. Teenage romance plays a minor role in the story.
