Addicted to YA discussion

Hello everyone! Sorry it has taken me so long to write one of these, but here we go.
I am Bailey and I was born and raised in Florida, USA. I am an ESE Teacher and I am going into the fifteenth year of teaching which seems so crazy to me!!!!
I have been a member of this group for a little while now and I have really enjoyed reading books that I probably wouldn't have otherwise. Although I have been a member for a while, I am only in my third month of being a moderator (I think), so do not be surprised when I make a lot of mistakes :) Also, even if I am still doing this in ten years, I will make a lot of mistakes, haha.
I am a cat mom by winning the kitten distribution system twice in two different towns and they are both so sweet (although, one is only sweet to me and a menace to everyone else).
My favorite genres are true crime, science fiction, and mystery. I have branched out into a lot more YA since joining this group and found that I really enjoy those books as well. I am not a fan of self-help books since I feel that everyone has to take their own journey to get to the same place, but that is just my opinion.

If you don't want to receive group emails, you have to change your settings. I usually send out four emails a month, polls are live, poll results, suggestions are live, and discussions are live, and it goes to everyone in the group unless you change your personal settings.
