Storyline: the employees of a tech company go to a skiing chalet super secluded in the alps for vacation, along with an ex employee. While they're there, small avalanches occur making skiing dangerous and then unadvised. Meanwhile, the employees are discussing up and coming changes to the company, including a potential buyout from investors. One main co-founder Eva, is for the buyout, and the other, Topher, is against. The story is told from two points of view, the ex employee, Liz, who does NOT want to be there but feels compelled to be, and one of the chalet workers, Erin. While they're there and the whole pot and thickening, one of then dies...and then another...and then another... are these accidents or is this murder? Will the culprit be found before they're all dead?
I loved the pacing, the dual viewpoints, and yes it was suspenseful because you didn't know who was behind the deaths, but because these were regular people and this didn't have any creatures or things that go bump in the night, I wasn't too scared and I was sucked in - I finished this in ONE DAY! Also at the end, hopefully this isn't a spoiler but there is no fight or war between anyone. There's definite moments of suspense and I'm on the edge of my seat wondering how will this end, but overall it's just right for me. I highly recommend.
