William Isley | 2 comments Hi, I'm a new member and actually go by "Bill." I have a Ph.D. in theological and religious studies, wrote my dissertation on G. K. Chesterton's concept of romance, and have taught and lived in the Caribbean (where I met my wife), Portugal, and Costa Rica. I have also taught for a semester in Russia and India. I recently retired from teaching and am trying to devote myself more to writing.

My website is https://billisley.com The blog posts I write cover theology, Bible, philosophy, literature with book and movie reviews.

My first novel is The Likeness of Sinful Flesh. It is set in the Caribbean and is story of Miriam who struggles with doubts about God's goodness. Here's the link to it on Amazon. https://a.co/d/btEPOiU If you'd like to review it, I could send you the ePub file or with Kindle Unlimited it is free.

I am working on publishing and/or writing more novels and short stories.

I look for ward to getting to know you all better and learn about new books!

Caitlin Nikolai (caitlinnikolaiauthor) | 9 comments Hello, Bill. What a fascinating life you have lived! I have a few books published but am working on my first Christian travel romance series. It sounds like you have my measly traveling beat hands down. Haha! Blessings to you on your publishing journey!

William Isley | 2 comments Thanks. God has blessed me in that way. I do remember, however, many years ago a friend asked me where I would want to live since I've lived in these various places. She was shocked when I said Indiana, which is the state I grew up in.
I hope that your series goes well. It's an interesting concept. My novel is a stand alone. You might be interested in Kristy Moore's Trouvaille, which combines romance and travel. Kristy was the typographer for my novel. Here's the link to her novel on Amazon. https://a.co/d/gckYtZc
