Anyone else having trouble finding a book by Lynn Austin by this title? I have checked her dot org website and cannot find it, nor amazon, libby, hoopla, everand, apple books, audible. If it’s on kindle, I won’t be able to get it. I do find a book by Laura Frantz by this name.

My library on Libby doesn't have this book!😭 Hopefully I'll get to go to the Library this month and hopefully they'll have it, or else I don't think I'll get to join this month...😥

Jazzie, you might try requesting an Interlibrary Loan. Most libraries participate in a system which allows patrons to request books from outside their local area. It may take a couple of weeks, but if you're a fast reader it would work.

I believe it's a standalone.

I checked to see if another library has this book, and one nearby does, so I'll probably put it on hold the same time I put some books I have to read for school on hold.

How’s everyone’s reading coming along? What do y’all think of it?
First I was thinking, ehh… 3⭐️ sadly…. But then, today it’s been picking up some and there’s a possibility it MIGHT go up to a 4⭐️…. But definitely not a 5 this time round. 😕

I had the same experience, not so inviting at first. Kinda predictable at times, other times good plot twists, and wraps up without drawing it out. About 88% the way through I asked this group if there was a book 2…no need.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author does a good job of creating place and well-developed characters. I gave it four stars. (It's got to be life-changing to get five.)
