personally, i think it was awful

yeah they changed it too much and made the characters annoying

Pip and Ravi’s relationship was going on too fast and they did not include the epic line “real men wear floral while trespassing ”
Soo it’s kinda fine🤧🤧
Also why is Barney not a golden retriever

tbh i feel like ravi and pip didn’t even have any moments until the 2nd to LAST episode??

i loved the book, but i found the show to be a bit mediocre. the first two episodes are fine i guess, but the more major changes they made, the worse it became. also, the acting was a bit... i don't know, not good? especially from the actor who plays ravi. im not sure if it's the actor's fault, though, or if the script was just so bad they ruined ravi as a character... the bond between him and pip was also so dull in the show, not at all like in the books unfortunately. i guess it's a perfectly enjoyable show for someone who has not read the book, which is the case with most book adaptations

if i hadn’t read the books i would of been really lost. they didn’t write it well. when we found out becca killed andie i was like ok? in the books i saw the pieces connecting but there wasn’t much before to show that she could of been connected

nahh i agree with all of u. if i didn’t read the books i wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on… also jason and dawn were like not even in the show??

the book series is one of my favorite series of all time but imo opinion the show is mid at best. i've only seen the first few episodes but already i don't like it. maybe this is just me hating change, but tere's so much that's different. also ravi looks like he's 30 years old.

ikr i thought he was was only a few years older than her like maybe 3 in the books? gonna have to reread

they sped through the plot way too fast

The show was choppy, slow and boring in most parts. The characters fell flat, and the mystery wasn't even explained all that well...they changed so much and for what reason? Also, Ravi about to leave in that last episode was so out of character for him! I was so upset!

THIS! One of the best parts of mysteries/thrillers is guessing the whodunit and even though I read the book and knew who did it, nothing in the show they made would've pointed to Becca. The clues didn't even connect well. And the fact that we didn't get to see her talking and answering some of Pip's questions in the book, also stole away from that moment of realization in the book.
