Now I just need to hunt down 4 more.
This will be my first challenge and I have 6 books so I need to downsize! My favourite book is number 7 in Andrews & Wilson's Tier One Series, "Ember" so I am super excited to read that one! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Starting the challenge on a beach holiday so I'm pretty keen to get some reading done in the sun!
I now have my 5 books squared away ready to go! They cover a few different reading styles beginning with a psychology self-help book by Lundy Bancroft called, “Why Does He Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men”. The second is a society and culture book written by Terri Cole, “Boundary Boss: The Essential Guide to True, Be Seen and (Finally) Life Free”.
Looking at Business and productivity for number three, written Steven Bartlett, “The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life”.
Then onto the ultimate military grade productivity and self-help book number four read written by Jason Fox, “Embrace the Chaos. 52 Tactics to Make Every Day Count”.
Lastly my final book which is the eighth book in the Tier One thriller series by Andrews and Wilson, called “Ember”.
I have settled on 4 non-fiction and 1 fiction! Stolen Focus - Johann Hari
The Book of Hope - Jane Goodall

Hi all! 😀I'm an avid reader outside of work hours, averaging about eight books a month. To challenge myself I've decided to try and double my TBR for the readathon. I'm asking my friends and family to donate $1 for every book I aim to read and am hoping to raise $300 during the month.
NOTE: This does not in any way diminish anyone for whom 5 books is a challenge, please don't interpret my goal as "holier than thou" - I simply want to challenge myself
My TBR looks very different to many on here as someone who reads primarily romance and fantasy - but even when reading for escapism you can learn so much about yourself through fictional characters and lands!

Happy reading everyone! Good luck! 📚
Hi all, Well I can’t decided on just 5 books. Every time I think I get my 5, I add another book or change it all around.
This far I’ve already read
- Glow of the everflame (Book 2)
And 1/2 way through
- Heat of the Everflame

Johanna, if you mean logging the books in an official capacity for the challenge there isn't a way. If you would like to log a book on Goodreads, add a book to your shelf as read, the the dates read and leave a review. :-)

It's great to set a high goal for yourself. :-) In my first readathon I ended up doing 25 books. I was on school holidays, had so much time for reading and I just set a goal and crushed it. I hope you are able to crush yours as well.

I have already changed my 5 as well! Work has gone hectic so my mood changes as does my reading choices. This is why I end up doing more books during the readathon because I keep addidng new reads.

I like to have my 5 books chosen ahead of time though I rarely follow through with those choices as I am a bit of a mood reader. I see that our esteemed founder Dylan has revealed he will be reading 'Finding Gobi' as one of his picks. What are you planning to read?
