Finally settled on this book. This is the summary (? taglines?) from the front:

During World War II, Jewish men were forced to box on Saturday night for Nazi entertainment.
The winner got extra food.
The loser went to the gas chambers.

I haven't read this book before, but I have read a couple books about WWII and the holocaust. I have a feeling this may be a tough book to read :(

It was pretty rough and sometimes the reasons they give for bad things happening is questionable, but they mostly leave it up to the reader to decide.
Interesting read, and has lots of footnotes with links to articles.
