Sandhya Joseph | 16 comments Hello 🙂

Would you consider reviewing an ebook set in another culture which combines three genres: Contemporary Second Chance Romance, Family Drama & Coming of Age Story?

It is bit of a slow burn and explores universal themes of love. marriage, friendships, family, fidelity and emotional health .

Perhaps a quick glance through the links listed below will help you decide...

Here's the link to the ebook on Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CWRG72HS

Hey Lilly,

Funny enough my female lead is named Lily. I want to be upfront this is not a romance novel, though I have had a lot of romance readers tell me they love it and the series gave them slow-burn vibes.

I'm nearly done with my vampire buddy-cop trilogy. Book one is Blood Herring: Keep Your Enemies Closer.

I would be thrilled to provide e-books for the first two novels along with two anthologies (which includes short stories set in the same universe.)

I'm posting the first 4 chapters below, if you're interested in continuing, please let me know.

Blurb:
What do accidental stalking, panic attacks, and landscaping have in common?

Everly’s life is exactly as it should be, until her estranged sister comes back to town the same day Asim Jabbar knocks on her door, nearly knocking Everly off her slipper-clad feet and her anxious heart right out of her chest.

After the flirtiest plant delivery of her life, Everly tries to find her Hot Delivery Guy without becoming a stalker, then digs herself into a hole when she enlists his help re-landscaping her yard. An already immaculate yard that does not need any new plants.

Asim agrees, on one condition: that Everly get her perfectly manicured hands dirty and join him. Despite Asim turning her life upside down, Everly can't stop thinking about the muscular, tattooed plant dad.

But when Asim’s world collapses and past scars threaten their future, Everly doesn’t realize all that Asim has sacrificed for her until it’s too late.

Two Novellas

Two life-affirming stories of ordinary people in extraordinary situations.

The Golden Flyswatter takes us to a retro dive bar in Santa Monica, California, where young Natalie Schoenfeldt, an ingenue from Wisconsin, gets a job cocktailing. She soon realizes that the patrons are not who they seem, and Hollywood opportunities may not be either.

The Walk of Washington takes us to present-day Philadelphia, where a young filmmaker is playing piano to pay the rent. When he meets an older gentleman who looks a lot like Benjamin Franklin, the most excellent adventure of his young adult life begins.

Vera Cavalieri | 5 comments Hi Lilly,

Please let me know if you would be interested in my fantasy romance.

Annabelle Argyle isn’t just unstable—she’s dangerous.

As one of the few omniwalkers who can wield all four elements, she’s been confined to the Aldoren base her entire life, training under the oppressive rule of Elementari law. To the Kingdom, her power is a threat that must be controlled. To the rebels in Zedara, she’s a weapon worth dying for.

When her unstable powers spark an accident, Annabelle is forced to train with Theo, an infuriatingly arrogant firewalker. But Theo has his own secrets, and when rebellion explodes across the land, Annabelle finds herself ambushed and thrust into a conflict she never asked for.

Caught between the ruthless Kingdom and the rebels who claim to fight for freedom, Annabelle discovers that both sides are hiding dangerous truths. With enemies closing in and allies she can’t trust, she faces a choice: use her power to support the rebellion, ally with the King, or forge her own path—even if it means turning against everyone she loves.

Feel free to email me at veraacavalieri@gmail.com for an arc.

message 16: by ERICA (new)

ERICA TAYLOR | 2 comments Hello,
I am looking for someone who would be willing to read my manuscript for an upcoming memoir about my son and myself with our journey through Autism. I am looking for feedback of any kind before I publish this book on 5/15.
The beginning of the book begins as such:

My Little Birdie to a Diagnosis

The moment I learned I was pregnant, everything in my life changed profoundly. The realization that this tiny life had chosen me filled me with awe and anxiety, making me acutely aware of the incredible journey ahead. I never imagined I could love someone so deeply just by seeing a plus sign on a stick.
From that moment on, I felt a powerful sense of purpose, believing wholeheartedly that motherhood would be the path I was meant to walk. I promised myself to be the best mother I could be, knowing that my child would always have my unconditional love and support. I quickly understood that no one could truly grasp the depth of a mother's love—a boundless and unfathomable feeling encompassing everything.

The moment my son, Landon, entered the world on his due date, March 1, 2007, was nothing short of miraculous. After enduring a long 22 hours and 43 minutes of labor, my beautiful baby boy was born at 11:43 p.m., weighing six pounds, fifteen ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. His Apgar scores of 9 and 9 reassured us of his health, yet during those first moments, I was overcome by the postpartum shakes, preventing me from holding him right away. Despite that, as soon as I laid eyes on him, an intense and overwhelming love filled my heart, it was as if he had always belonged to me.

Once I was able to steady myself, I finally cradled him in my arms. The sensation of holding my son for the first time was indescribable; it felt as if time stood still. Sadly, my precious time with him was cut short as the medical staff took him for essential newborn screenings, fingerprinting, footprints, and thorough cleaning before bringing him to the nursery. While they tended to him, I was guided to my maternity room to clean up and rest while his dad accompanied the medical team.

Just a few hours later, around 3:30 in the morning, a light knock on my door awakened me, and there he was—my sweet baby boy swaddled snugly in his bassinet. In that quiet moment, I was utterly in awe as I gazed upon his pure little face, ready to feed and bond with me. I felt an immense gratitude wash over me for the fleeting time I had alone with him before our hospital room would soon fill with visitors. It was a treasured moment I would hold close to my heart forever.

Throughout the day, with the constant influx of visitors, we could not help but notice Landon struggling with feeding, experiencing labored breathing, and showing signs of discomfort that made him moan. After sharing these observations with the nurse, the doctor promptly examined him and reassured us that he was healthy, mentioning that the nurses would closely watch him in the nursery for a little while. When they brought him back to my room and told us he was doing fine, I felt a wave of relief washing over me.

As the day turned into night, I decided to send him back to the nursery, hoping both of us would get a good night’s sleep before we brought him home the following day. However, a knock on my door at 1 am shattered that hope. It was not my precious baby boy waiting for me on the other side of the door, but rather a team of doctors, their faces filled with concern as they prepared to share the troubling news about Landon’s condition. At that moment, my heart sank, and an overwhelming fear flooded my body, making it hard to breathe as tears streamed down my face.

After just twenty-three hours of life, my precious son faced a series of daunting health challenges, including respiratory distress, low oxygen levels, pulmonary hypertension, vomiting, hypotonia, and meconium aspiration, which led to his admission to the NICU. It was incredibly painful to learn that he would need to remain in the hospital for ongoing testing and observation, especially as I was being discharged. The weight of the situation felt overwhelming, and my heart broke knowing he would be experiencing this alone.

Each day during his stay, I made it a priority to be by his side until visiting hours ended, but the nights without him were agonizing. I was so grateful to my sister and one of my best friends, who stood by me and my then-husband during this challenging time. They came to the hospital every day, offering not just emotional support, but also comfort, laughter, food, and fresh clothes, everything we needed in that moment. Their presence and support felt like a lifeline, providing us with hope when everything felt uncertain and overwhelming.

Our family and friends, many of whom had met Landon before his NICU admission, continued to check on us regularly, which was a true blessing. The love and support we received from those around us reminded us how fortunate we were to have such incredible people in our lives. Their kindness was truly indispensable, offering us the strength we needed as we anxiously awaited Landon’s health to improve, hoping for the day he could finally come home with us.

This is just a sample if anyone wishes to continue to read it, please email me at mylittlebirdie51509@gmail.com and I will send it to a selected avid reader in about a week to read as I am still editing.

Hiii! I have ARC signups open for a sweet monster romance book. When a merman rescues a lighthouse keeper (a woman) in the 1800s, he starts to stick around, and though they have a language barrier at first, they very quickly begin to see how similar they truly are. It's a really sweet and romantic read with short, bite-sized chapters that makes it easy to binge.

Anne Foster | 26 comments Hi! I have a Supernatural Thriller if you're interested!

👻👻

Someone’s going to die — Spencer just doesn’t know who.

The Incident changed everything. When Spencer was fourteen, the once hopeful, naive child came home to a bloodbath. No one would tell him what happened that night, other than the attacker died in a failed attempt at killing his parents.

He never told anyone that weeks after The Incident, the dead man and his family started following him; and with them came visions of his loved ones dying. Especially his mom, who started acting differently — angry, erratic.

As if someone else was controlling her.

Until one day, Spencer found her room covered in blood.

He was too late to save her.

Now, ten years later, the family is back with more visions of people dying. Armed with nothing more than the ghosts’ cryptic messages, Spencer’s the only one who can stop more bodies from falling.

This time, he has to fix this.

Jill Chandler | 48 comments Hi Lilly,

Your reviews sound amazing, thoughtful, detailed, and exactly what authors like me dream of! I’d love to send you an e-ARC of my debut romance, Canceled (The Saddle Bar Encounters, Book One) — a STEM romance full of ambition, betrayal, explosive chemistry, steamy scenes, and a fiercely loyal, unhinged best friend for comic relief.

It’s a contemporary romance (think The Hating Game meets The Dropout), where a brilliant chemist rebuilding her life collides with a broody biotech CEO who can’t stay away.

If you’re interested, I can send you the ePub file directly or through BookFunnel — whichever is easier for you.

Thanks so much for considering, and I’d be honored to have your honest review!

With gratitude,
Jill Chandler

Tamsin St. James | 4 comments Hiya! I have a gothic horror romance if that's your vibe?

I'm a debut indie author looking for ARC sign-ups for Hollow Secrets - a spicy, modern retelling of Sleepy Hollow. From Katrina’s POV.

✨ARCS go out Sept 20th
✨It'll be an eARC shared via Bookfunnel
✨Book goes live Oct 3rd
✨Ideally reviews would be shared by Oct 18th

Sign up here: https://bit.ly/3GVa4ZR

Katrina Van Tassel doesn’t believe in ghosts, witches or the occult. And she certainly doesn’t believe in the tale of the Headless Horseman. So, when she moves back to Sleepy Hollow following her mother’s death, and the townspeople start turning up without their heads, she thinks there must be a logical explanation for it all.

It’s not long before Ichabod Crane, the dark and brooding music professor, is accused of being involved in the grisly crimes.

With the small town getting more dangerous by the minute, can he convince Katrina of what’s really happening? And can he do it before it’s too late?
