2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

This is a re-read for me. I have wanted to puck up the series again since it us being turned into a television series.
I was happy to discover that it is his first book.

I love this book. The only thing I would change is not to read the annotated version. The side notes were very distracting.

A tv series? Cool! I loved Terry Brooks when I was a preteen/teen and even met him and had all his books signed :) I'm not really into fantasy now like I was then (except for Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones), but I'd definitely check out a show :)

I love his books. He is who I list as my favorite author. I loved the way he blends most of his books into a collective whole. Also loved his landover series.

What is the TV series going to be called??

It is called the Shannara Chronicles. It starts January 5th on MTV, which means I will hope for it to go on Netflix.
