Hi, I’m a farmer’s girl. The family have a farm here in Ireland and I just adore the life.

Other than my horses, I did books in my school days (chick lit). I’m not happy with noisy places, so avoid the pubs and clubs: I fell off a horse when I was young and banged my tiny brain quite hard (weeks in the hospital, and I couldn’t remember too about it once they let me out). The doctors don’t know if that has anything to do with it - I just get wrinkly in crowded, noisy places. Even a household party makes my head buzz and me get bothered. I gave the books up once I was full-time on the farm, but now I'm without the TV and the books, good books this time around, are here to stay.
I made a GR friend who also took a bang on the head and avoids noise - I'm sure it was both the bang and size of my brain.

My reading has gone all over the place since school; and I’ve given up (for good) on all that romance, chick-lit, social-family relationship drama.
Credible fact-based fiction mainly; thrillers, crime, historical, mysteries, where I’m urged to research the issues. Think about what the storyline is telling me is where I'm at.
