Cheryl (cherylllr) What have we been reading, especially in Time Travel, that we want to mention to our fellow fans, January - August 2024?

Cheryl (cherylllr) As I said in the July book club discussion, I did enjoy Cassandra in Reverse more than I thought I would, and I do recommend it to those of you on the fence about it. It's not quite as silly as the cover design implies, but, yes, there is romance.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Steven says, in the introductory thread to this folder, that he gave 4 stars to Shattered Time by Christopher Coates. Read his note for more.

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments I also enjoyed Cassandra in Reverse. The use of the time loops to help her better understand life was interesting. It was a quick read.

Glynn | 342 comments Sorry I haven't been much of a participant these days. I just finished a book which bills itself as time travel but is more of a mish mash of historical fiction, romance, fantasy. It isn't great but I struggled to the bitter end. It's called The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. It might appeal to some time travelling readers.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Heh. Yeah, I tagged that "not for me." But it is popular in the libraries, so who knows!

Steven (politicoprof) | 112 comments I just started Recursion.

Who would like to discuss it?

I liked it. How is it not time travel when it has a working time machine in it?

Cheryl (cherylllr) Steven, I'm moving your suggestion to the September thread.
