This thread is to discuss Snakes and Ladders, the third book in the Ziba MacKenzie series by Victoria Selman.

I finished it. It was good but a few parts were predictable.

(view spoiler)[ some parts were predictable especially who was involved. The book reminded me of the character Wild Bill from Silence of the Lambs with the collecting of parts.
Felt Jack was a little stupid in this one. Things are disappearing from his house and he doesn't suspect the woman that he's involved with was just plain stupid. the way the book ended, have a feeling there might be another one coming (hide spoiler)]

I thought this was fabulous. Yes, the murderer was revealed farther from the end than I'd expected. But that ending, though! How can this be the last Ziba? And now that (view spoiler)[she and Wolfie are together... YAY! (hide spoiler)]

I will definitely want to read more from this author.
