📚SEPTEMBER 2024 Dusty Bookshelf Challenge:💈



Please post your shelves. NO COMMENTS in this thread please. You can add discussion comments after pairs are posted.

How It Works:
1) Please post up to 10 books that you would like to read this month.
*minimum 5 books.

2) CHOOSE TURTLE (one book) or HARE (two books) to indicate your reading speed so your picker will know whether to choose one book or two books.

3) An assigned person will pick ONE or TWO BOOKS (depending on the indicated reading speed) from your shelf.

4) BONUS BOOK: Specify "another book from my shelf" OR Pick a Genre and the assigned person will pick a book from the GOODREADS Choice Award book list for that specific genre.
CATEGORIES: Fiction, Historical Fiction, Mystery & Thriller, Romance, Romantasy, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, Young Adult Fantasy, Young Adult Fiction, Debut Novel, Nonfiction, Memoir & Autobiography, History & Biography, Humor

5) You have one month: SEPTEMBER 2024 to try to read the chosen books. (*if you don't read your book(s) this month, it's okay because this challenge is for YOUR ENJOYMENT)

5) Please try to select for your pair ASAP as we all get excited and waiting is torture to some.

AUGUST 25th-28th, 2024: Participants will post their shelves
*If you do not list a shelf, I will not pair you with anyone
***Cut off on AUGUST 28th
AUGUST 29th-30th: Pairs will be posted & then selection of the books and posting it for the person you are choosing for
*Again, as I said earlier, please try to select for your pair ASAP.

ETA 09-08-24: Finished The Taken Ones and LOVED it. I think I am going to save Meredith, Alone because I just realized it's the only book that fits an upcoming prompt for another challenge, but I can't read it just yet. That leaves Purple House, which I hope to get to after my latest round of library books. :)

ETA 09-22-24: Unfortunately, The Only Purple House in Town was a DNF. I found it sloppily written and rushed.

ETA 10-12-24 Getting caught up with the reads I missed. Finished Meredith, Alone and quite enjoyed it.
