Kristen | 15 comments I chose Sleep Tight by J.H. Markert and Phantasma (Wicked Games, #1) by Kaylie Smith
I'm loving the spooky vibes that will get me ready for fall!

I also added on The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
because I accidentally dropped my July copy in the lake and ruined it :(

oh no!! I'm so sorry about your first copy of God of the Woods!! I hope the lake visit was nice other than the book loss!

Man that sucks balls! But the good thing is that to replace it won't cost you 30 put only 10, but you have to wait for it to be delivered. Which also sucks balls. LOL.

I read it last month and I gave it 5 stars. I was good.

That's the best part about BOTM! (Even though I still make trips to Barns and Nobles) You really can't beat the price for these hard cover books. I still read through the end of the book even though the pages were wet and had sand all over them because I was too invested in the story not to! I also gave it 5 stars.

message 10: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Carrion (ecarrion) | 712 comments I also still got to books stores but it hurts to buy one book when I know I can get 3 books from BOTM. I wish they would lower their prices. IF they did more people would buy more books.

I love this dedication! I agree, once you got near the end there was no stopping! but I'm so sorry you had to read it wet and sandy! 😂🤣

I buy from a local indie book store that automatically matches Amazon prices AND I support a local book store - so I don't mind the higher prices because I still get a good deal.

Barnes and Noble prices would definitely make me want to cry! lol

message 13: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 72 comments I got Madwoman by Chelsea Bieker , The Night We Lost Him by Laura Dave , 56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard and Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano

message 14: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new)

Trisha | 1951 comments WOW! Anyone else's books getting here super fast? Mine 1st box should be here today! That's the FASTEST they have ever arrived!!

message 15: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 502 comments Mine said if I ordered a certain book that it wouldn’t ship until September 9-10, so not soon!

message 16: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 502 comments Trisha, you are so lucky to have an Indie bookstore near you. I never even though of those or knew they existed but what a blessing to be able to support the small business in your community. I never buy from B&N anymore.

BTW, last month I got Volume 0 A SPELL FOR DISAPPEARING, and it says "Free Story For You" on the bottom. Not sure why, maybe everyone got one or I got it for some other reason. It's cool, though.

Trish: I really wish I had a small book store nearby but there are none (that I know of) within a 30 mile radius of me unfortunately.

Vicki: I just received my box and I ended up getting the Volume 0 A Spell For Disappearing for a 2nd time! I received it in last months box as well.

message 18: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new)

Trisha | 1951 comments Yes, they sent out the Volume 0 - just one short story from the first issue! I'm not sure why, is the 1st one available to order anymore?

Maybe to entice others to order 2 or 3? Hmmm. Either way, it's just a little bonus. hopefully people liked the short story!

message 19: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 502 comments I haven’t read it yet because I just opened my box today lol

message 20: by Michelle L. (new)

No way!
You’re paying 9 bucks for 44 pages?!
They should be free or two bucks at the most.
Well I’m a tight axx , I wind be buying those. One more buck and I can get another book. 🤔
