Can you start getting books that are free with an Amazon Kindle Unlimited subscription? I can't afford to buy these books every month, and they are never available at the library.

Members are free to nominate books of their choice (avoiding book promotions).
If you nominate one that is on kindle unlimited and it comes out as a winner of the poll, then it will become one of the book of the month reads.
However, we do not limit member's choices to specific availabilities of one source or another.

Besides the BOTM reads, you can also request buddy reads if your choice does not make it as BOTM.

Not sure where you are but What You Are Looking For Is In the Library IS on Kindle Unlimited in the US
