Nigel is such a interesting character... I'm over half way through the book, and I can't seem to forget how creatively thought out Nigel's fortune telling magic is..

I'm like 2 chapters in like i'm all for the arranged marriage trope but I'm not sure if I'm gonna love this book. We'll see I guess. But I'm like reading 4 book right now and it's so hard to focus on each of them loll

They were so good! Sometimes they confused me, lol, but it all made sense at the end!!!

I read this for my groups August BOTM and honestly I didn’t really enjoy it!
I'm reading it about 80% through (Chapter 36) and am confused about Legend and why they ship him with Tellalike I'm not liking Tella but still

started the second part, now i am at the half and omg that's so confusing to don't know if its a game now or the reality.. and the ship? tella and legend? but why?
I rated it 3.5 stars. It was pretty good. I didn't really love the characters tho. And the ship was fine, but I'm still annoyed about how pushy Jullian was when Scarlett even expressed her discomfort.
I would like your opinion. I have read Caraval and loved it but would you forgive Scarlet’s sister because if my brother did something to me I wouldn’t ever forgive him for making me go through all of that thinking I would die along the way. Maybe that’s my opinion but I would like both sides of the story. And please. If you have a different opinion please don’t spread hate but respectful opinions.-Addi

erm yeah Tella was wild for that. If my sister faked her suicide in front of me and sent me on a wild goose chase thinking she was kidnapped, I'd be pissed. I feel like I would eventually forgive her though because I'd just be so glad she's alive and she had somewhat noble intentions, she just went about it in the worst possible way.
I'm about 90% through a re-read and I forgot how confusing it could be. I love how mysterious it is but the ending is just 😮😱 I forgot how crazy it got (still love it though)

@malloryso basicalky theres this legend (a name) who hosts a game called caraval each year and they basically have to find an item or something like that to get a prize.
scarlett dragna is abused by her father and she has a sister donatella (tella) so basically they go to the game and try to play it but tella gets kidnapped or smth and scarlett has to find her to get a wish from legend!
basically* also i rated this book a 4.5
JUST READ AND NOW ITS A NEW FAVOURITE
I LOVE this series but I’m torn between wanting to be Scarlett and Donatella UGHH
