The sky darkens to a deep gray as the storm forms. Waves crash harder and harder as rye water starts rising and falling hard. Rayne knows that she is the reason because of the storms intensity. She earlier angered her father the king of the Aquania Empire which caused this situation. Rayne swims further away from her palace and up to the shore.

Evelyn saw the clouds darken. She sighed. The weather had been so unpredictable the past few weeks, and her crew wasn’t getting any closer their goal. She called to her crew, telling them to find shore and anchor for the night. They would have to wait out the storm.

As she swam closer to the rough peaks of the water she saw an anchor lower down, down into the water. She continued her climb, now to investigate where this anchor was coming from. These parts of the ocean rarely housed ships of any kind.

Evelyn scoped out the shore. It was a small port city, but it was her only option. She and her crew walked onto land to find shelter.

She peeked at the ship from under the water, scoping out if anyone was on the ship. She didn’t see anyone, so she switched into her human form and climbed up aboard.

Evelyn and her crew split up among the store fronts, buying provisions to store on their ship. After they finished shopping, the headed back towards the ship to get rest.

Rayne walked to the first door she saw and opened it. She saw a staircase down so she slowly stumbled down it, until she found a room with a bed in it. She then laid down on the bed.

Evelyn saw signs of an intruder. She told her crew to stay back and went forth to inspect the ship.

Quickly after lying down she fell asleep, tired from fighting with the king all morning long.

Evelyn found a girl sleeping in her bed. She drew her blade and approached slowly. She tripped on a loose floorboard and her sword fell to the ground with a crash.

Startled awake, she sat up in the bed. “Gods!” she screamed, startled.

Evelyn straightened up, brandishing her sword. “Who are you and what are you doing on my ship?” She snapped.

((Np! I get it. I hope it went ok.))

Not wanting to reveal what she is, she keeps silent.

“Answer me!” Evelyn yelled, stepping closer. “Or you can walk the plank.”

She leans back, away from the pirate. She continues to stay quiet.

Evelyn stared at the girl confused. “Can you speak?”

She thinks for a moment of what she would do next. “I can speak,” she whispers.

Evelyn lowered her voice to match the girls. “What are you doing in my bed, on my ship.” She glared

“I was tired” she says, continuing at a low volume. “I needed to get away from my father” she tells her.

“There’s a town less than a mile from here.” Evelyn responded. “And you chose to come here?”

She hesitates for a second. “My father is in the town” she lies.

Evelyn stared at her “we don’t have any more room on the ship.”
