I liked it but more so towards the end. great little plot twist that kinda redeemed it. she did a good job avoiding world building being too complicated given how short it was. u know i always hate when they do that. chicago is cool and unique. loved the polish. niko was random but would’ve been so good in a longer book version.

I felt like this book was a good setup for a larger book. I liked the premise and the characters but I feel like this would be a great book if there were like 300 more pages of Dymitr after he became zmor I think that would would be such an interesting book to read. Overall a fun and quick read though and I liked the polish elements don’t think I’ve read another book that includes that.
