Play Book Tag discussion

This is actually a re-read for me, for my irl bookclub. GR informed me that I read it 2 years ago and while I enjoyed it, I found I barely remember it at all! I think I actually enjoyed it a bit more this time around, maybe I can more empathise on the feeling of being old (at least at the start of the novel) and appreciate all the jokes around that.

This book is actually full of humour especially in the banter between characters and that is what made the book aside from the potential romance. It's not really a romance except for the potential and without spoiler, I can't really say why it really touches the heart.

The title doesn't really sound promising but Old Man's War is actually a very lively book; full of action and life and philosophical thoughts on life and humanity. Give it a go even if you're not a scifi fan (my non-scifi-fan-bookclubbers enjoyed it).
